BestOf: Aerosmith

I thought I'd share my list of the all-time best Aerosmith songs ever. This is, of course, personal opinion, but I'd be interested in hearing about songs that I may have missed. You don't need to tell me that a song sucks and shouldn't be on the list. If it's there, it's because I really like it. But let me know what you think you'd add if you were making the list for you.

Dream On
Mama Kin
Same Old Song and Dance
Train Kept a Rollin'
Toys in the Attic
Walk This Way
Big Ten Inch Record
Sweet Emotion
No More No More
You See Me Crying
Back in the Saddle
Last Child
Rats in the Cellar
Nobody's Fault
Get the Lead Out
Home Tonight
Draw the Line
Come Together
Heart's Done Time
Rag Doll
Dude (Looks Like a Lady)
Hangman Jury
I'm Down
F.I.N.E.
Love in an Elevator
Helter Skelter
Baby, Please Don't Go
You Gotta Move
I'm Ready
The Movie

  1. Great list. Here are my additions, in order of release. Maybe not the best, but some of my favs.

    Make It
    Walkin' the Dog
    Lord of the Thighs
    Kings and Queens
    Sight for Sore Eyes
    (every song off "Rocks")
    Cheese Cake
    Three Mile Smile
Angel (sentimental - the first Aerosmith song I learned to play on guitar)
What It Takes (sorry, some of these ballads get me going - highschool memories)
    Taste of India
    The Farm
    Crash

  2. Thanks, Danny. I'm familiar with all but the last three songs you mention. The last album I have before Honkin' on Bobo is Pump. So I missed most of the 1990s output, mostly because I was hearing just their sappy power ballads on movie soundtracks and on the radio. And, I'm sorry, but I couldn't get past the album cover of Get A Grip to buy it (good thing, too, as it pretty much sucks). I'll have to borrow Nine Lives from you sometime and check it out. Any really good songs on Just Push Play?

  3. I've always been a fan of Kings and Queens. Not the typical Aerosmith song.
